Quite disappointing to only see 5 entries this time. Contestants had to come up with a cover/remix of an electronic artist’s song using their own samples. Well done to identity_crisis for pulling the lead.

  • Wow. Great version of a great song. It’s almost as good as the original, a lot of the details are included and the samples are well picked. Well done! Bwt the other songs were also good quality. :-)
  • haven’t heard the original.. but it still sounds very jean-michel jarre :) but then.. i like jean-michel jarre and i don’t like techno :)

  • This tune it´s the one that shows more skills, and more work to do it!
  • The author got my attention with the kettle drum, and held it throughout the song.. Quite a nice remix. Appropriate instrumentation.
  • First of, I was very disappointed when I learned that there were only five tunes in the vote pack. I’d been looking forward to this votepack because I thought it would be jam packed with smashing tunes. Saint.it was the best tune in the pack and I really like Orbital’s “original” though I doubt they really composed the tune. c12-eq8.xm suffered from a bad selection of samples. That’s why I gave it the lowest score. I especially disliked the bassdrum.
