| FQ Music Network is a new site dedicated to supporting live music events in West Sussex. Initially we intend to add a small number of local musicians and bands and offer a booking facility for local pubs, clubs and organisations. We will be creating a marketing plan and mission statement in due course.
The problems most amateur musicians starting out and moving beyond Open Mic to full on gigs are lack of equipment, insurance, licences, and managing contracts and fees. Our intention is to simplify this and help you get started.
So if you’re a musician local to Chichester, Bognor Regis or Littlehampton and either interested in advertising yourself on our website or simply hiring equipment for your gig please get in touch.
Equipment
We currently have two PA systems. A simple PA and 500w speaker system for small venues suitable for 2 to 3 singers and 1 to 2 instruments. We have a larger full PA system for larger venues. We have a small number of microphones available but usually expect musicians to use their own preferred microphones. Unfortunately we do not have full backline (guitar and bass amps, foldbacks, etc) available at this time.
