- The Craft was great. Technically the 50 channels did pay off. The tune was nice,
and, well I liked it. :) Welldone! BTW: Orbiting.it...what happened??? Your intro was
sooooo nice, I was waiting for something to happen...but nothing did!!Why???? :(
file: gc-zep.it
- It was toss-up between Garlick Crisis and Funky Attitude, but GC pulled off with
a stronger-sounding composition. Leads were generally good, which made up for the heavy
use of the chords. The bass shifting
between the left and right stereo channels caught me off-guard at first, but it wasn't
severe and actually kept the tune moving. Close behind was Funky Attitude with some good
solo work, but it just didn't have the same punch as GC. Peanut was also a valiant attempt
at goa with this sample set, and it was pulled off quite nicely. Worth mentioning also are
Las Palmas with a very danceable groove and True or False, a bassy steet-wise track.
- Well I'll go with Zephers piece to win this time. The sound is alot cleaner then
most of the other entrys. The Leads are nice and it has a good feel. I also like that he
added a chip sample. ;)

- I felt the song was well thought out. It was full and had lots of variation. I
thought some of the sample effects were pretty cool too.
- Basically active, unlike many other tracks... besides an old bias for Protocal
file: kr-massa.xm
- was well put together, it flowed well and this one basically won me over with
its spacey techno sound. I loved it.

- technically it seemed alright...but what a God Damn annoying tune!
file: dr_gnumb.xm
- <-- hahahahaha <-- that should do it. No really, thiz piece of music really
sucked. I never heard a more worse entry in a Groovy Compo before. I'm sorry for Dr Watson
though =)
- This guy sealed his fate with the name of his song.
- Get a life! Music should flow, not just exist!
- yo that fucking SUCKS. you should be ashamed.
file: heart-pu.it
- Not much can save heart-pu.it from being much worse. It is not only completely
detuned but feels "empty" lacking any real bass and discernable melody. PurrNaK
had fun writing it, but really needs to listen to some good movie soundtracks. Listen to
the way the authors create suspense or mystery. Analyse the use of percussion and
low-frequency strings. Experiment with "fuller"-sounding chords. Also, for songs
like this, you might try to tell a story with it. Imagine the scene where it could be used
and how it synchronizes with the characters within it.
- Well heart of the dungeon really does seem a bit mashed together. It dosn't have
much form, melody, or much else thats musical for that matter.
file: orbiting.it
- It was hard to choose a "last place" with the high calliber of songs
that GC15 produced, but I had to pick orbiting.it. There just wasn't mutch to it, it
wasn't bad, it just wansn't as mutch fun to listen to as the others.
