Organized by: Yannis Brown                                   GroovyCompo #21 Results

Congratulations to Graham for pulling top score by 1 point! This GC comp was based on TV/movie themes. There were some interesting remixes here, and some consensus on someone cheating by ripping someone elses tune and passing it up as their own.

  • Wayfinders tune was very nice. To put it simply its probaly one of the best tracked covers I've ever heard.
  • This is a well thought through entry, and the sovereign first pos. in a bunch of mediocre tunes. Nice samples and such, and your percussion and flow is good. Well done!

  • What a great melow!!! The best music here for sure! Wayfinder: The only problem is that the music is a remix...if not this could have been one the best musics ever made by you... its just great :))
  • Husanak's remix was no rip, technically ok and quite accurate in reproducing the melody he desired. And in addition, a pleasure to listen to (unlike others *coughcoughcaramelcoughcough*) :)

  • Good ol' MacGyver tune! That's all that needs to be said... nicely translated into a module.

General Comments:

  • Garlick : No way this rip could have gone undetected. Last.
  • The tune gc!alfr.xm is an obvious rip from an old Amiga ALF theme remix, btw.
