GroovyCompo #26 Results
Good to see some new faces (or old faces) joining. This proved an interesting
comp, but Tompa pulls first place! Congrats.

- Other than the inappropriate "hihat intro" and bad title, this was a
very high-quality and enjoyable piece. The style fits together very well.
- I chose 'Is this Pipe?' (pipe.it) as the best tune for to main reasons. One, it
is just a great tune, which is a joy to listen to, and Two, it is a well constructed
track.
- Not much time to write here but it was very close this week. I had trouble
choosing a winner. I chose this as it was just that little bit better all round than the
others. Gotta go now.
- Pretty good quality all over I'd say, exept for one or two... feeling.it and
pipe.it are groovie funk songs, and I realy like funk so I guess that's why they're the
best :)
- Nice Demopop with an awesome bassline, good melodies, and nice tight drums. Solid
tracking, and easily the best of the pack.
file: feeling.it
- Excellent tune, very nice form. Professional work
- Very well tracked. A lot of nice variations. Never got boring
- Nicest song musically. Nice key changes and leads. Sounds solid, clean, and has
the most variety.
file: fallen.it
- Also really well tracked. Nice instrumentation. Interesting the whole way
through.
- Because it has well defined parts as introductory, loops
and so on, and
they have very smooth joint . Use many instruments as well.
file: as_deep.it
- A great piece of work! Deep Inside was a nice change from all these headache
music everywhere else. Welldone, groovy tune
file: dilettan.it
- The tunes were pretty much crap this time but still dilettan.it managed to give a
few good beats. Nice drums and chord progression. Nice tune all together, although the
beginning was just too weird for me. Still, I like it a lot, thank you very much
- Okay, the intro scared me a little. But when the beat kicked in... ooh. So
original, so groovy. Who wrote it? I must know. There were quite a few other excellent
tunes. Great round this time. Sure my ass will be properly kicked, but that's life.
